The 11th Annual Conference of Economic Forum of Entrepreneurship & International Business
Online - December 22nd, 2025
Edmonton, Alberta time

Many thanks to Professors Morrison Handley-Schachler and Daniel May for chairing and organizing such a truly outstanding online conference today. It was a pleasure to join an exceptional group of scholars from different countries, brought together in a rich and intellectually stimulating exchange.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Professor Trisiladi Supriyanto, a leading expert in ethical finance, for joining us and presenting his insightful research on the Theory of Profit and Its Application in Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions across several countries.
My thanks also go to Mr. Mykyta Saveliev, PhD candidate, for his excellent presentation on Risk Management in Times of Crisis for SMEs, and to Dr. Ramzy Hassan for sharing his important research on Promoting Financial Empowerment in Yemen: A Study on a Financial Education Program.
I am equally grateful to Dr. Salma Ibenchekroun for her thoughtful paper on Perceptions of Support Mechanisms and Their Impact on Entrepreneurship among Young Healthcare Graduates, which added valuable perspectives to our discussions.
Special thanks are due to Dr. Daniel May for presenting his remarkable work on Dynamic Land-Use Economics: Balancing Commercial Expansion, Cultural Resilience, and Policy in Rural Chile. His interdisciplinary contributions to agribusiness, landscape studies, and cultural and social resistance are truly exceptional. He is undoubtedly a most promising candidate for the highest levels of academic recognition in the years to come.
I would also like to acknowledge our many esteemed colleagues who were unable to join us live due to time zone differences, yet continue to contribute significantly to our independent intellectual network through their ongoing scholarly engagement.
My sincere thanks once again to Dr. Morrison Handley-Schachler for his leadership in organizing and chairing this wonderful event, and to Dr. Sybille Schachler for her continued support of our activities and for joining us today.
As usual, all presentations will be published on our website.
I wish you all a joyful holiday season and a very happy and prosperous New Year.
